Brandon Bollig (born on January 31, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey player for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Playing CareerEdit

Prior to turning professional, Brandon played two seasons of college hockey at St. Lawrence University with the St. Lawrence Saints men's ice hockey team.

On April 3, 2010, the Chicago Blackhawks signed him to a two-year entry-level contract and assigned him to play for their AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs.

On February 28, 2012, Brandon was called up to the NHL after the Blackhawks traded John Scott to the New York Rangers.

On February 29, 2012, he made his NHL debut and took on the role of an enforcer. On April 14, 2012, he scored his first NHL goal in a playoff game against the Phoenix Coyotes' Mike Smith.

In 2013, Brandon won his first Stanley Cup championship as the Blackhawks defeated the Boston Bruins in the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals.

He was the first player from St. Louis to have his name engraved on the Stanley Cup.

On October 1, 2013, Brandon scored his first regular-season career NHL goal against Braden Holtby of the Washington Capitals.

On June 28, 2014, he was traded to the Calgary Flames at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for the 83rd overall pick in the draft.

Acting CareerEdit

In 2002, Brandon appeared in the film "Defiance" as 12-year-old Will Cross. The movie also starred former St. Louis Blues enforcer Tony Twist.
